Why does everyone want to throw lemons at Chantay on Degrassi TNG?

The character, Chantay Black, is extremely useless in the show Degrassi. Everyone wants to throw lemons at her, but I don't know why. What is the reason behind this obsession with wanting to throw lemons at Chantay?
