Does Anyone Even Know Why It's Called Degrassi The Next Generation. Have You Watched 80'S Degrassi?

Not only have I watched them but they use to be mandatory watching at school and on for the after school special. Did YOU know some of the original cast are on TNG as parents and that creeps me out a bit.
