advantages [ it is used to see specific proteins, sub cellular components, surface view of epidermis] .... disadvantages ;;; i think mostly sem has to magnify objects .the use of electron microscope is to magnify objects.so it is useful to us to observe the small things. i think in my opinion there are no disadvantages
