My parents can never be on time for me.?

My parents (mainly my dad) seem to never Pick me up from my activities on time. I have a friend who lives by me whOm I also have a lot of activities with. We call our parents to pick us up at the same time. Her dad always gets there in a few minutes so I know for a fact that he comes as soon as my friend calls. Her dad even asks me If I need a ride and I decline because I assume my dad is already on his way. But then my dad isn't there for ten to twenty minutes. Sometimes my friend calls me and she is already home and I am doubtful that my parents have even touched the keys yet. They never even sem to notice that when they pick me up, I am usually the only person there because everyone elses parents came already. If I tell them they are late they use excuses liked thy had to see the end of their show or they even try to turn things so that I am the one at fault. One time I was ten blocks from home and when they were 7 or 8 minutes late I started walking and made it all the way to find my dad watching tv. I told him it was cold outside and he never camE for me and I was upset and he told me that crying would warm me up. Should it not be his responsibility to come and get me without being so late?
