Girls would you be creeped out if a guy did this to you?

So I was looking at my facebook friends and there were a lot I kinda lost contact with. But then there was this girl who I can barely remember but I feel like talking to her. Would it seem weird if I said, " Hey I'm not sure if I remember you, but how's it going?" Maybe that kinda sucks, but how can I start talking to her? I dont want to sem weird and i dont know why im even friends with her on fb i dont addrandom people. im starting to think i met her at an old party and she just remembered me and added me. but i have never talked to her before. what should i say?
