Degrassi??????????????????????…

From what I understand, some of the characters from the original Degrassi had kids and that's how some of the characters from TNG came about. For instance, Spike, an original character, had a baby, Emma, when she was a teen. Years later, TNG was created to document the next generation of students at Degrassi, one of which was Emma. Over the years, they've had to add and take away characters because school only lasts a few years (tv seasons). Currently in the 10th season, only one of the original characters remains, Principal "Snake" Simpson.
